How to order, what's included, and what happens after your request.

The shop, explained

How do I order MECAFLOW equipment?
There's no "Buy" button: you fill in the "Request a quote" form on the shop, specifying your number of machines and people. We get back to you with a priced offer tailored to your workshop, within 48 hours.
Can I pay online, by card?
No, there's no online payment at launch. The process is: quote request → discussion → written quote → your validation → invoice. This lets us precisely tailor the configuration (tablets, cards, labels) to your workshop before invoicing you anything.
Is MECAFLOW software really free for schools?
Yes, on the software side, use is free for vocational schools. What's paid is the equipment (tablets, NFC cards, QR labels, installation) and — for companies — the software subscription. A school can start with its own equipment and only pay if it chooses a MECAFLOW kit or hardware.
What's included in the KIT Atelier 20?
Designed for ~20 machines and ~20 people:
  • 5 tablets (1 production manager/trainer station + 4 employee/apprentice stations);
  • QR labels: 20 large-format machine labels plus rolls for drawers and tools;
  • 20 NFC cards (badges) + 2 USB readers;
  • On-site installation, configuration and training;
  • MECAFLOW software included for 12 months (CMMS, safety, skills, workshop layout).
The displayed price is indicative; the final amount depends on your configuration and is confirmed in the quote.
Do I need to install software, wire sensors or modify machines?
No. MECAFLOW is non-invasive: a QR label on each machine (or drawer, or tool), and each person has a PIN or an NFC card. Nothing to wire, no sensor to fit. You scan, identify yourself, and the workshop is managed from a tablet or a computer.
What are the delivery times?
Expect around 4 to 6 weeks from order confirmation. This is indicative and is specified in your quote.
Is there a warranty on the equipment?
Yes, a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects from delivery, under normal use — see art. 6 of the Terms and Conditions.
Is training included?
Yes, for the KIT Atelier 20, on-site installation, configuration and training of your teams are included. For individual equipment, training can be added on quote — specify your need in the form.
Where is data (students, apprentices, machines) hosted?
MECAFLOW is published in Switzerland (Nexus Studios, Biel/Bienne) and your data is stored in Europe, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) — including for minors' data (apprentices). It is never resold.
Can I order equipment individually, without the full kit?
Yes. Tablets, NFC cards, USB reader and QR labels (S/M/L formats) are available individually or in packs, to complement an existing workshop. The quote form has checkboxes to specify what interests you.
Does the equipment work with other software, or the other way around?
No: MECAFLOW hardware and software are paired (each tablet, card, label is linked to your workshop). This avoids misconfigurations and guarantees a single party responsible for the whole system.
What if I already have tablets or an NFC reader?
Let us know in the form: we'll look together at what's reusable and only add to the quote what's actually missing.

After my order

You've just sent the "Request a quote" form. Here's what happens next, step by step.

  1. Immediate acknowledgement

    A confirmation message appears ("Your request has been sent"). Your request is recorded with your contact details and what interests you.

  2. Contact within 48 h

    A member of the MECAFLOW team contacts you (email or phone) to clarify your needs: number of machines, people, workshop constraints.

  3. Quote preparation

    We prepare a priced, personalised quote: equipment, training, and if applicable the software subscription (free for schools).

  4. Quote sent and validated

    You receive the quote in writing. You can ask questions and request adjustments before validating it.

  5. Order confirmed and invoiced

    Once the quote is validated, the order is recorded and invoiced according to the stated terms (no online payment upon request).

  6. Equipment preparation

    Tablets are provisioned, NFC cards and QR labels are prepared and configured for your workshop.

  7. Delivery

    Indicative time: around 4 to 6 weeks.

  8. On-site installation and configuration

    We install the equipment in your workshop: labels applied, tablets in place, NFC cards linked to people.

  9. Training your teams

    Trainers and, depending on the kit, apprentices are trained in day-to-day use: scanning a machine, reporting a breakdown, assigning a station…

  10. Independent operation

    You're autonomous day-to-day. Support remains available (see the FAQ above and the guides).
