Connected Workshop: MECAFLOW Unveils Its Range of Tablets, NFC Badges and QR Labels

Press release·10 July 2026

Biel/Bienne (BE), 10 July 2026. After the software, the hardware. MECAFLOW is launching a range of equipment designed for the connected workshop: provisioned tablets, NFC badges, USB readers and sequential QR labels, up to the turnkey KIT installed and configured on site.

From the Machine to the Screen, Everything Is Paired

Every machine, drawer and tool gets a QR label (sizes S, M, L). Workshop tablets, provisioned by MECAFLOW, act as kiosk terminals with a safety gate. NFC cards identify staff with a simple tap on a USB reader, on both PC and tablet.

A Turnkey KIT

The "Workshop 20" KIT targets facilities with 20 machines and 20 staff: tablets (one production manager station and four staff stations), QR labels, NFC cards and readers, on-site installation and training, MECAFLOW software included. The workshop scans from day one.

Software and Hardware That Work Together

The hardware ships provisioned and paired with the software, to avoid start-up friction. The range is ordered through the MECAFLOW shop, by quote, with delivery in Switzerland.

« Many workshops know they should go digital but get stuck on the hardware. We deliver the whole thing ready to use: teams are scanning on day one. »— The Nexus Studios team
