One control plan per part
You list the dimensions, their tolerances and the expected instrument, then mark the critical ones. The plan becomes the template for every measurement.
Measurement at the workstation, no paper
The operator measures by keyboard or Sylvac caliper. The verdict falls on the critical dimensions; an overdue instrument isn't even offered.
Certificate and SPC as output
The certificate of conformity is issued with its real coverage, and every dimension feeds its Pp/Ppk and control chart.

Is the verdict based on all dimensions or only the critical ones?
On the dimensions you've marked as critical. A critical dimension out of tolerance sends the lot to non-conforming; non-critical dimensions are measured and traced but don't block the verdict. You stay in control of what's blocking.
Do you need a sensor or a connected instrument to get started?
No. You start with keyboard entry, manual input is enough. The Sylvac Bluetooth caliper is added later if you want to remove re-keying, but it's never a prerequisite.
What is the certificate of conformity worth in a dispute?
It states the real coverage: which critical dimensions were measured, with which instrument and its calibration. There's no blind "conforming" checkbox — the document states exactly what was checked.
How do you handle overdue or out-of-tolerance instruments?
Every instrument has its own calibration tracking. As soon as it's overdue or declared out of tolerance, it goes into quarantine and disappears from the list of instruments offered for measurement, until it's recalibrated. It's impossible to measure with an invalid instrument by mistake.
