What workshop managers ask
Do I need a sensor or hardware to track skills?
No. The Skills module works with a keyboard and mouse, like the rest of MECAFLOW. QR, PIN, or sensor capture is for production; training only needs a browser.
Does the MECAFLOW certificate replace a formal qualification?
No, and it doesn't claim to. It attests to practice of industry standards — CMMS, safety, KPIs, Lean. It complements a formal qualification, useful in interviews or in a file, never an official diploma.
Is this useful for a company, or only for a vocational school?
Both. Vocational schools get the most out of it, but a machining SME uses it to map its operators' skills, prepare reviews, and secure key positions.
Where is apprentice data hosted?
All MECAFLOW data, including assessments and report cards, is stored in Europe. MECAFLOW is made in Switzerland (Nexus Studios, Biel/Bienne). You remain the owner and can export it whenever you wish.
